Our founders saw a need for structured, community-driven support that meets writers where they are and takes them where they want to go.

BGW offers two membership paths, one for scholars actively writing their dissertation, and one for those who've already earned their doctoral degree. Both give you access to the community, writing support, and the scholars who get it.
Not sure which tier is yours? If you are currently enrolled in a doctoral program and working on your dissertation, you are a Scholar Member. If you have defended and graduated with your doctoral degree, you are a Doctor Member with a lower rate that honors what you've already accomplished.
